Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting enables an organization to quantify its carbon emissions at either a corporate level—covering emissions from its overall operations or a product level, covering emissions associated with manufacturing. Using the GHG Protocol, IPCC Guidelines, ISO 14064 and PAS 2050 standards, elementsix identifies emission sources within defined organizational and operational boundaries.
Emissions are calculated in tonnes of CO2 equivalent (tCO2e) using appropriate emission factors to establish an accurate carbon footprint.
